Misty

The starring female character of the series, the good old Misty has the common anime relationship with the male starring Ash: they get along, yet they tend to discuss and fight often. They are supposed to be in love, but nothing seems to prove it. She prefers the water Pokémon, and in the Johto series she "adopts" Togepi. In Japan she is called Kasumi.
