the centre of Colombia , South America, at 38 miles from Bogota DC;
Altitude 2.600 meters, 13.000 people, 54/33/70°F mean/min/max
temperature, rel. humidity 87%, without seasons, official language
Spanish, refunded by conqueror Gomez de Mena in 1604 AC in the same
place of a pre-Columbian Muisca town, plenty of places to
sightseeing as the volcanic thermal pools and spring, the "Peña de
Juaica" mountain, Tabio Botanic Garden, the Ecological Forest
Reservoir "Carmen de los Juncales", Small Churches as Capilla de
Santa Barbara and Capilla de Lourdes, as well as the colonial
architecture of its houses, the streets built with rounded river
rocks, the traditional hand-made objects and furniture's worked by
its artisans, the folk music and food, and its exceptional mountain
landscapes.
